**Your new company**
Position for an APS5 Procurement Officer available at a department that provides independent reviews of a wide range of decisions made by the Australian Government and some non-government bodies.

**Your new role**
As a key member of the Procurement and Contracts team within Business Support, this position will be responsible for the informed and economical conduct of procurement duties including purchasing, approaches to market and contract management in accordance with Commonwealth and department procurement policies and practices.

**Role duties**
- Manage the full range of procurement of goods and services, including preparing spending proposals, executive minutes, contracts, records, goods and services receipting and creation of purchase orders.
- Completion of claim for payment forms for property operating expenditure and other invoices.
- Reconciliation of expenditure in accordance with contract and tender pricing.
- Advise all stakeholders with regards to Commonwealth standards for procurement, governance and processes, which result in positive value for money outcomes and minimise procurement risk.
- Coordinate and respond to department procurement related reporting requirements including Austender, Annual Procurement Plan, Senate Estimates, and Questions on Notice.
- Develop, maintain, communicate and advise internal and external stakeholders with regards to internal procurement policies and process which result in positive value for money, efficiencies and which minimise procurement risks.
