**About the role**:
As Executive Officer you will be responsible for supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Finance and Property and the leadership team by providing high level coordination for Directorate-wide initiatives, implementation of strategies and projects. Managing content for committee and leadership meetings.

You will work closely with the COOs Executive Assistant (EA) to manage the business of the Finance and Property leadership team.

**Often representing the Chief Operating Officer - Finance and Property the Executive Officer will**
- Act as a strategic and trusted advisor, providing high-quality support to the COO and the Finance and Property leadership team
- Assist the COO with Finance and Property strategic and tactical Business plan/roadmaps.
- Assist with forward planning of COO communications, content development and coordination
- Have a financial 'mind' with a strong understanding of budgets, audits and other operating requirements in accordance with Uniting's policies and relevant legislation
- Board and Committee reports - coordination of input, and initial drafting
- Demonstrate the highest level of discretion and confidentiality, excellent judgement, self awareness and emotional intelligence.
- Possess an exceptional ability to build and maintain high quality relationships across the organisation.

**Qualifications and experience**

Ideally you will have 7 or more years experience and be tertiary qualified in a relevant business discipline. You are a hands-on roll the sleeves up person, a true problem solver that looks objectively at situations/issues aiming for a smart solution.

Resilience is key as you will be communicating/interacting with a diverse and broad range of stakeholders, so your strong. confident interpersonal skills will come heavily into play.

It is expected you will have a good sense of financial business acumen, be numerate, have excellent report writing skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Paramount to your success in this great role is your sheer determination, strategic and tactical focus that makes every task you touch deliver exceptional results.
