**About the role**
We have an exciting opportunity for an **Operations Manager** to lead B&D manufacturing across VIC, based at our B&D site in Kilsyth.
You’ll be engaging, mentoring and empowering your team to work cohesively and will ensure they achieve results by giving them a clear vision of business objectives.
**Responsibilities**
- Focusing and inspiring your team on how we can deliver ongoing benefit to the B&D business
- Supporting team activities to improve output, quality and safety performance
- Monitoring and improving performance by providing structure, direction and KPI's on relevant measures
- Managing operational costs and budgets to ensure value and benefit to the business
- Initiating, designing and implementing initiatives that step-change the performance of the NSW business
- Driving a Continuous Improvement agenda using LEAN principles
**Skills & Experience**
- Collaborative leadership experience within engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain
- Experience with Industrial Relations and negotiating EA’s
- Solid experience in safety and quality
- Experience driving Continuous Improvement projects following LEAN principles
- Experience with financial reporting and managing budgets including cost savings
