**THE ROLE**

As the finance officer you will work closely with our accounts payable and the wider finance team to process supplier invoices, complete reconciliations, process payment runs and work with our purchasing team. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Finance team with month end close and internal / external audit queries.
- Provide financial accounting support to the Finance team as required
- Ensure timely and accurate document matching, coding, data entry and processing of creditor invoices to achieve accurate financial accounts
- Respond to and resolve all creditor inquiries in an accurate, courteous, confidential and timely matter
- Assist with reconciliation of creditor statements and follow up on missing invoices or discrepancies
- Maintain the integrity of the creditors and related databases and ensure internal control procedures are complied with
- Processing of creditors payments in accordance with agreed payment terms and distribution of remittance advices
- Accurately process Stock Adjustments Purchase order management

**ABOUT YOU**

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual who loves building relationships across all levels of the business. A few other things we will be looking for include;
- Previous experience in a similar finance role
- Strong computing skills and knowledge of financial software packages
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage a high-volume workload
- Knowledge of accounting principles Previous experience using MYOB Exo and Micropay (highly regarded)
