**Description**:
**About the Role**:
**Day to day tasks will involve**:

- Service and repairs of all equipment
- Rebuilds and overhauls
- Creation of new equipment, building and assembly
- Conducting daily prestart meetings & filling out of JHAs as required
- Guiding and sharing information with the team of fitters as required
- Travel to worksites if and when needed

**Skills and Experiences**:
**About you**:

- Relevant trade qualification (required)
- Heavy vehicle and earthmoving experience (preferred)
- Good understanding of scan & diagnostic’s tools for both aftermarket suppliers and OEM’s
- Understanding of hydraulic & electrical systems and repairs
- Welding and fabrication skills (valuable)
- Ability to manage, locate and order stock/spare parts
- Ability to work unsupervised on the task
- Ability to be creative and work outside normal tasks with repairs on specialised equipment
