**About KOTH**:
King of the Hills (KOTH) is the flagship operation of Vault Minerals Limited and one of the largest gold mines in Australia. After a significant expansion, KOTH now features a 4.7 million tonne per annum (Mtpa) processing plant, providing a solid platform for long-term production growth. This dynamic operation combines open-pit and underground mining, with exciting exploration activities driving the future. KOTH is located approximately 900 km northeast of Perth and 25 km north of Leonora, within the Goldfields Region of Western Australia.

This role is offered on a 14/14- FIFO from Perth.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Design and monitor grade control drilling programs in the open pit.
- Present bench and blast reconciliations, optimizing the Blast Movement Process.
- Train Mine Geologists on creating dig plans to maximize recovery and minimize ore loss/dilution.
- Liaise with technical staff and contractors to ensure best drilling, blasting, and mining practices.
- Supervise ore extraction to maximize recovery and minimize ore loss/dilution.
- Manage sample QAQC data and report monthly.
- Validate and QAQC drilling data in Acquire and Leapfrog/Vulcan.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of production data.
- Collaborate with Geologists and Metallurgists on ROM ore stockpile management for optimal plant blend.
- Update production, survey, and drilling data in plans and sections.
- Assist in interpreting grade control data and producing models in relevant software.

**Key factors to your success include**:

- Tertiary qualification in Geology (BSc. Geology or Applied Geology)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Open Pit operations
- Proficient in the use of Leapfrog Geo and or Vulcan software.
- Confident in the use of database software, specifically Acquire.
- An advanced understanding of ore-forming processes and 3D modelling techniques.
- A sound understanding of data management and validation processes.
- A strong understanding of gold ore-forming processes.
- WA Driver’s Licence - C Class
