**The Client**
The client is an established and growing resource partner. They have several mining contracts currently in operation and more in the pipeline due to commence imminently.

The Role

The role is for an experienced Geologist with a proven background in Iron Ore and Magnetite.

**About the Role - Geologist**

This role will support the Operations Maintenance Team by undertaking primarily borefield genset, pumping stations and some light and heavy vehicle maintenance works, whilst ensuring Australian standards and statutory compliance is met.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate all geological activities for the mining operation
- Supervision and Management of grade control
- Maintaining and implementing QA/QC procedures
- Oversee technical reporting in the compilation of daily grade reports, weekly and monthly reports that track production a and provide inputs
- Assist with engineering/planning and surveying requirements
- Participate in Geology Department and control systems development
- Liaise with Mine Production personnel to coordinate drilling activities in the open pit environment.
- Contribute to short and long-term planning

**About You**
- Bachelor Science (Geology)
- Minimum 4-6 years’ experience including open pit gold mining.
- Skilled in mining software
- Exposure to current grade control technologies and practices
- Planning and organisational skills
- Demonstrable team working skills
- Good communication skills
- Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
- QM Ticket Highly regarded
