An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and qualified General Manager for Epworth’s centre of Mental Health excellence at Epworth Clinic.
This key leadership role will be responsible for the day to day operations and key operational and financial targets across the mental health service and developing and delivering on the overall business strategy in alignment with the Epworth strategy.
Maintaining the existing focus on person centred care, the General Manager will be responsible for strengthening key medical partnership relationships, business development and maintaining and engaging with specialist physicians and specialist mental health clinicians to enrich our Epworth Clinic service and stakeholder networks.
The role will also oversee the provision of clinical and operational management of the allied health and administrative services of the Epworth Clinic and embed outstanding ways of working through the delivery of current and new innovative programs and robust administrative systems that support key stakeholder and patient services.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the General Manager - Epworth Clinic, will work closely with the Director of Clinical Services and Medical Director of Psychiatry in supporting excellence in clinical governance and core clinical service provision for the Epworth Clinic, through clinical risk and safety outcome reviews, patient engagement and strong clinical governance systems.
Working in a dynamic environment, this role requires significant mental health services experience in strategy formulation, stakeholder relationship engagement and operational leadership where the provision of mental health service expert leadership, strategic focus, and authoritative and expert advice was expected. Proven performance management of services and delivery targets is essential, as is a track record in confidently interacting with specialist stakeholders, including other health services and physicians who are leaders in their field, as well as external organisations to support collaborative engagement and problem solving.
