**The opportunity**

This role is part of a team (of Investigators) engaged in activities designed to maximise compliance with a Victorian revenue law(s). As the least experienced investigative members of the team, Grade 3 Investigators are responsible for the conduct of the less complex audits and investigations, which are designed to ensure the collection of revenue due to Victoria.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting investigations under guidance using audit and investigation skills
- Producing accurate reports on investigations findings
- Negotiating appropriate outcomes with customers
- Participating in revenue protection activities

**Who we are looking for**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Effective communication skills (interpersonal, verbal and written)
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- A professional approach to customer service
- Tertiary qualifications or a demonstrated commitment to tertiary studies in a relevant discipline.
