**Position Information**:
Googong Public School is a new government school servicing the Googong community. We are a purpose built future focused learning environment with 33 classrooms, including 3 supported learning classes, catering for over 700 students. Currently, we have approximately 415 enrolments across K-6. There is a high EAL/D population, sitting at about 30% and we have 14 students who identify as either Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Googong Public School boasts state of the art technology resources; large landscaped outdoor learning and play spaces; a multipurpose court; multi-function hall; air-conditioned classrooms; special purpose rooms; and a well-resourced library.

Googong Public School is located at the heart of the Googong township and provides students with quality educational programs delivered by highly qualified and dedicated teachers and support staff. With a strong academic focus, students experience unique opportunities that challenge and extend their learning across an extensive curriculum.

Googong Public School fosters a culture of high expectations, highlighting quality relationships and effective strong wellbeing programs within an inclusive environment. Innovative, collaborative teaching and learning pedagogies are evident, driven by explicit, systematic practices utilising the co-teaching cycle of co-plan, co-teach, co-debrief and co-reflect. Student voice is promoted via our student leadership model, consulting all students on matters that affect them most.

We encourage parents to be active participants in school activities and we value their input in their child's education. **Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach infants and primary, with demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based, differentiated literacy and numeracy programs using data to inform practice.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to authentically integrate technology across the curriculum and implement innovative, future-focused practices that empower students and inspire learners.
- Highly developed communication, organisation and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, parents and the broader community to achieve whole-school goals.
- Willingness, capacity and enthusiasm to contribute to whole school culture, teams and programs (such as sport, music and/or performing arts) associated with supporting the wellbeing and diverse needs of our learners.
