**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced administrator to work with the Sydney Royal Easter Show Competitions & Events team. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, planning, coordination and execution of the Sydney Royal Easter Show Districts Exhibits and Honey Competitions & Events. This role also provides administration support to the Competitions Support Taskforce (CST).
This role does not require you to be an expert in these portfolios however you will demonstrate an appreciation and some understanding of each portfolio. You will be excited & passionate about Agriculture & Events.
You will be responsible for a range of services including, but not limited to:
- Coordinate and manage the administration of the Districts Exhibits and Honey competitions
- Provide administration support and manage projects for the Competitions Support Taskforce (CST)
- Prepare, develop and execute competition schedules
- Plan, coordinate and manage various in-house events specific to each section
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with key internal & external stakeholders
- Manage the competition’s budget
This part-time role is 3 days per week, however moves to full-time days & hours in the lead up to & during the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

We manage the Sydney Royal Easter Show, Sydney Royal competitions, the RAS Foundation, Australasian Animal Registry, and the Sydney Showground. The RAS has a team of over 130 full-time staff and an indispensable pool of casual staff who work on the Easter Show, and other Sydney Showground events.
