Actuarial Analyst

- The opportunity
- This is an exceptional opportunity for an Actuarial professional to join one of Australia’s leading insurers in the role of Actuarial Analyst across our Workers Compensation product.
- We are seeking people to:
- Support Actuarial Managers with providing value adding performance and reserving insights to divisional and Group colleagues- Perform monthly BAU tasks and other Actuarial analysis as required- Support ongoing actuarial claims performance monitoring to provide insights to the business.- Be the ‘go-to person’ for data analysis and support to senior Actuarial professionals, enabling the team to provide meaningful insights to the business- Support QBE’s annual budgeting cycle, and provide ongoing analysis to support financial reforecasts of QBE’s P&L.- Continuously seek process improvement and be part of the QBE Actuarial modernisation journey
- Your story so far- You’re an Actuarial professional with experience within general insurance- You enjoy analysing data and using actuarial judgement to provide meaningful insights to the business, enabling us to manage a profitable portfolio of insurance products.- You are an exceptional communicator and are comfortable engaging with stakeholders across a broader organisation to collaborate and achieve success.- Ability to extract, analyse and interpret data from several sources and resolve complex issues
