The Experience Analysis is responsible for producing detailed biometric analyses of the Life business experience using detailed knowledge of the life insurance market and actuarial practice.
The vision of the team is to be seen as a key contributor of valuable insights which can be used to manage and drive the business to be successful.
Your job
- Translate actuarial data, model requirements and deliver these reliably from the available data sources (includes valuation, pricing, experience analysis and insights requirements)
- Complete allocated data projects relating to Life Actuarial activities
- Data analysis to ensure accurate actuarial and financial data
- Perform seriatim premium reconciliations of client bordereaux
- Translate actuarial requirements into business rules and technical/functional specifications
- Help codify actuarial validations and business rules as part of the end to end data process including EDI processes
- Ensure data exceptions are resolved with clients
- Provide input and test data provided from clients due to system changes or new system development
**Profile**:
- Relevant tertiary Actuarial degree
- 1+ years Financial Services or Insurance experience
- Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions)
- Some knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of basic modelling principles and database fundamentals
