**About the Role**

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Lead Tenures Adviser to join Santos’ EAPNG Tenures team based in Brisbane. Reporting to the Manager Tenures, this role will support technical coordination and governance of tenure management, and administration and compliance monitoring across the Company’s Eastern Australian onshore exploration, development and production operations.

Utilising a wide range of technical knowledge, evaluation techniques and expertise, you will be responsible for driving and leading the formulating, reviewing and accuracy of information provided to Regulatory bodies.

This role also provides technical support to the tenures team to deliver tenure management and governance across the upstream business and promotes tenure management and compliance related standards which are consistent with Santos' policies and work across the upstream business to ensure high standards of compliance are achieved.

Key Accountabilities:

- Provide expert advice and assistance during the lifecycle of activities of tenure (planning and design, project construction and implementation, operation, abandonment and rehabilitation).
- Developing and implementing processes for compilation of technical data to justify regulatory approvals.
- Obtain and review technical data and provide expert advice to ensure that the information supplied meet the provisions of the resource legislation
- Establish and refine channels of communications and associated interface systems, notifications and processes with key approval stakeholders - both internal and external.
- Undertake audits for compliance obligations regarding Tenures conditions and obligations as specified in the relevant resource legislation and associated regulations.
- Provide expert advice on and coordinate overlapping tenure requirements internally and externally.

**About You**
- Extensive experience in a high-volume Tenures role, including compliance, monitoring and identifying risks
- Guiding, mentoring and advising teams of professionals and/or individual contributors
- Knowledge of petroleum legislation and relevant tenure procedures and systems
- Knowledge of government including processes and procedures
- Tertiary qualification
