**About the Role...**

You will be a valued member of the supportive, friendly and experienced 3-person Workshop team, who undertake a diverse range of tasks to keep our poultry business in good shape.

Your role will include design, fabrication and general maintenance repairs to production plant and equipment. This role reports to the Workshop Manager at Darwalla Group, a south-east Queensland poultry producer located in beautiful Mt Cotton.

**About you...**

This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. This industry is a 24/7 operation and therefore flexibility is essential to meet production demands.
- Relevant qualifications & experience in maintenance fitting
- Ability to carry out steel fabrication and repairs
- Be able to read and interpret drawings
- Demonstrated compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills
- A positive attitude & flexible approach
- Their own transport and current drivers’ licence

Highly advantageous:

- A current forklift licence
- Experience maintaining and/or operating a feed mill or similar production equipment
- Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights certificates
