Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to support Minor Works Project Team. This permanent role is based at Seqwater's Mt. Crosby Water Treatment Plant and is focused on the delivery of Minor Capital Works with a focus on managing third party contractors in project delivery.

**Experience**
- Experience in mechanical minor project / maintenance delivery (in the water industry desirable).
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, supervise third party subcontractors to deliver Minor Works Projects in accordance with Seqwater WHS systems.
- Good communication skills to meet both internal and external customer needs

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrable strong commitment to safety
- Enjoy working in a team environment and self-motivated
- Ability to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the role

Skills / Qualifications:

- Must have relevant Australian recognised trade certificate as a Mechanical Fitter
- Current First Aid, LVR&CPR, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Breathing Apparatus and Gas Test Atmosphere tickets are all desirable, but not essential
- White card or equivalent.
