10-month opportunity for an Engagement Officer with a leading State Government department in Melbourne CBD.

**Your new company**
A leading Victorian State Government department focussed on the delivery of education and development services to children, young people and adults through the regulation and funding of early childhood services, government and non-government schools and training programs.

**Your new role**
As the Engagement Officer, you will:

- Provide event management support for upcoming Department events
- Build and support relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a very high level
- Develop communications collateral including event brief writing and ministerial correspondence

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

- Previous experience with event coordination/management, specifically in a Government protocol environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in event logistics and project management
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with prior experience liaising with senior level stakeholders
