About the role

Join the friendly team at the Astor Hotel in the heart of Adelaide as a Casual Bar & Waiting Staff. This is a casual role offering flexible working hours, perfect for those looking to supplement their income or gain experience in the hospitality industry. You will work as part of a vibrant team delivering exceptional customer service in our bar, dining & function areas.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an efficient and friendly manner
  2. Provide prompt and courteous service to customers
  3. Help maintain a clean, safe and well-stocked bar
  4. Ensure customers' needs are met and they have an enjoyable experience
  5. Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to support the overall operation of the venue

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a similar bar or waitstaff role, ideally within the hospitality industry
  2. Availability Friday & Saturday nights
  3. Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
  4. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  5. The ability to work well as part of a team
  6. Familiarity with operating bar equipment and point-of-sale systems (desirable)
  7. A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
