This is a key role within the People and Culture leadership team. It is accountable for leading a high performing group of payroll and systems specialists.

**The Role**:
This is a key role within the People and Culture leadership team. It is accountable for leading a high performing group of payroll and systems specialists.

This role is part of the Centre of Expertise and leads a team of technical specialists in areas that provide governance in people matters and unlock organisational capacity, capability and opportunity.

6 month contract with the potential for permanency.

**The Duties**:

- Lead the delivery of a timely and accurate payroll service that meets all legislative requirements
- Ensure accurate time, attendance and leave management
- Management of the architect and security of employee records
- Owns the organisational wide workforce plan and links with relevant stakeholders to ensure it is relevant and accurate
- Review the current payroll and people systems and processes for efficiency opportunities and risk mitigation purposes
- Efficiently process invoices for payment as required

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Significant experience as a Payroll practitioner
- Desirable - Experience leading a team of HR specialists and payroll experts
- Desirable - PowerBI and TechnologyOne experience
