**Medical Receptionist ( Full time )**

An exciting opportunity exists to join a friendly front office team at a busy medical facility in Ivanhoe.

We are an established day hospital specialising in the provision of quality gastroenterology endoscopy service.

We are looking for applicants who can offer the following attributes.
- work full time. No weekends.
- flexible in working hours to cover other receptionists who maybe on leave
- Business working hours between 7.30 am to 6.30 pm in 8 hour shift
- well presented with excellent customer service skills
- roles include patient admissions - booking appoinments
- billings to Medicare and Private health funds and other administrative duties as required
- capacity to work independently and at a fast pace.
- previous experience as a medical receptionist or in administrative work preferred.
- excellent computer skills as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- fluent in both written and spoken English. A second language such as Chinese is very useful
- someone who is looking for a medium to long term position. Job is _not suitable_ for short term intention or university students
- you are located within a reasonable distance from Ivanhoe. State locality when applying.
- enjoy working with a small friendly team in a centre located near a railway station and some nice nearby cafes and restaurants.
- casual position but possible to be offered permanent after 12 month review.
- wages according to experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
