**The Role**:
CDC NSW is looking for a dynamic, passionate and self-motivated Yard Assistant to join their team at the Terrey Hills depot.

This role supports the functions of the Depot and Workshop under the leadership of the Depot Manager. This is a full-time position which requires flexibility to work as required.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain vehicle exteriors, undercarriages and air-conditioning systems
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance to bus interiors, including graffiti removal, repairs to seats and replacement of window etching film
- Plant repairs and maintenance including buses
- Audit on-board equipment, including spare mirrors, first aid kits and fire extinguishers
- Update system requirements in relation to on-board computerised destination equipment
- Clean and maintain on board Bus Driver Consoles (BDC) and Bus Validators (BV) including booking with Cubic
- Spare parts and vehicle delivery/pickup
- General maintenance of the depot
- Safely operate high pressure cleaning equipment to clean workshop floor, bus undercarriage and Bus Wash
- Drive routes and charters as required
- Complete fortnightly and monthly WHS checklists and rectify associated items requiring attention
- Perform other duties as instructed within the scope of the position as required

**About You**:

- Current HR Driver’s Licence
- Current Transport for NSW Driver Authority
- Current ‘Working with Children’ clearance
- Ability to work unsupervised, show initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to perform manual duties applicable to the role
- Ability to provide clear instructions to drivers and other staff as required within the scope of the position
