Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently sourcing for a motivated Commissioning E&I Technician to work as part of our commissioning team. This role will be site based operating in remote Queensland.

Our Commissioning team is responsible for the project pre-commissioning and commissioning activities ensuring the plant and equipment is correctly installed, functions correclty and is safe to operate prior to the handover to Operations. This is your opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the team, while being rewarded with strong pay/EBA, a FIFO role and a supportive team culture.

You will be
**skilled in the following areas**:

- Ability to deliver a high quality, consistent and competent electrical and instrument technician service in accordance with both the client's and Wood's requirements, standards and procedures
- Constantly ensuring that all work scope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
- Thorough experience working within a project environment, preferably within the oil & gas industry, however, other maintenance electrician and instrumentation experience will be considered
- Effective fault finding and problem solving skills
- Great communication skills.

Skills / Qualifications:
The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following
**qualifications and tickets**, including Dual Trade of Electrical and Instrumentation:

- Valid Electrical Licence
- Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems
- Hazardous Areas (either EEHA or full Cert IV) and HV switching. Ideally refreshed within the last 2 years
- High Risk Work Licence - EWP (11m or more)
- Confined Space - current within last 3 years
- Working Safely at Heights - current within last 3 years
- Current CPR & Low Voltage Rescue
- Construction Card
