**The opportunity**
The Professional Development Programs Co-ordinator develops, co-ordinates and delivers training modules and Professional Development programs for HammondCare team members. The programs developed and delivered, aim to equip team members with the knowledge and skills to do their roles well, translate knowledge into practice and build a satisfying career at HammondCare. This role works across all HammondCare business units.
The essence of this role:
- Lead the development and delivery of Leadership and Management Training Programs which provide professional development opportunities for people across HammondCare portfolios.
- Consultation with key stake holders in the development of Programs aligned to HammondCare Mission in Action and areas of expertise and roles.
- Work autonomously and as part of a team, to ensure that our training programs are an effective professional development opportunity for HammondCare employees.
- Contribution to Learnings internal and external professional development programs ensuring customer and business needs are met.
**This role is based at St Leonards with working from home flexibility.**
**Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinating Professional Development Training programs in line with stakeholder mandatory training frameworks
- Facilitating and delivering leadership programs to both online and in person groups
- Working with broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure Leadership and Management Training programs are built on HammondCare practice and evidence applicable across the broader industry
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders in the scoping, planning and development of identified Training Programs which meets organisational needs and individual professional development objectives
- Reporting on the activities and outcomes of the Training Programs as required
- Evaluating all activities as part of ongoing quality improvement
- Collaboration with HammondCare teams as required to meet role objectives
- Collaboration with other Learning team professionals to support overall portfolio business goals.

- Demonstrated ability in delivery and development of professional development programs
- Experience and in depth knowledge of adult learning principles
- Demonstrated capacity in negotiation with internal and external partners
- High level of communication and relationship building skills
- Proven success in customer service
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet deadlines and utilise a project management framework.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Understanding and experience in facilitating both classroom and online education
- Excellent report writing, administrative and computer skills including proficiency _in Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint._
- Experience and understanding of health and or aged care workforce
- Willingness to travel intra and interstate, on the rare occasion
- Empathy and patience
- Knowledge of and experience in, Aged Care services desired
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field or similar study/experience desired
- Understanding and working knowledge of dementia care services desired
- Experience in developing education and principles of PowerPoint slide development desired
