**About the Role**:
As a Café Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming space for our customers. From making recommendations and upselling products to ensuring the store is spotless and inviting — your energy and attention to detail will help deliver the Gloria Jean’s experience every day.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver fast, friendly, and efficient customer service
- Promote and upsell products with confidence
- Support and represent in-store marketing campaigns
- Communicate clearly and positively with customers and team members
- Help maintain a clean and safe café environment
- Use store checklists to ensure all tasks are completed during your shift
- Follow instructions from your Shift Supervisor, Store Manager, or Company Director
- Wear the correct, clean uniform and maintain a professional appearance

**What We’re Looking For**:

- A positive attitude and team spirit
- Confidence interacting with customers
- Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays on a rotating roster
- Prior café or customer service experience is a plus but not essential

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.95 - $39.66 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 38 per week
