**Front of House Manager - The Rigby**

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to join our vibrant team at The Rigby. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and have a proven track record in managing a front of house team, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

**About Us**

The Rigby is a popular establishment known for its delicious food, outstanding service, and warm ambiance. We take pride in creating memorable experiences for our customers and strive to provide a welcoming and enjoyable environment. We serve breakfast 7 days from 8am & open for lunch, dinner & drinks Wednesday - Saturday.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the front of house department, including overseeing the dining area, bar, and customer service.
- Ensure smooth and efficient service delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
- Have the skills to work across multiple front of house roles e.g. barista & bartender
- Train, motivate, and lead a team of front of house staff, providing ongoing guidance and support.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the back of house staff & management to ensure adequate supplies and timely ordering.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for increasing revenue and enhancing the customer experience.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a cafe, bar, or bistro setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A customer-focused mindset, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Solid understanding of front of house operations, including reservation systems, point-of-sale systems, and cash handling.
- Proven ability to handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
