**Description**:
To perform this role, it is essential that the person is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
About The Role
As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, this role serves as a pathway to a future Practice Manager position. The Practice Support Supervisor will receive mentorship and guidance from the Practice Manager, preparing them to successfully transition into a PM role. In the interim, the Practice Support Supervisor provides leadership, supervision, and support to the Medical Reception Team, ensuring efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient service.
Duties
- Provide direct supervision and support to the clinic administration team.
- Implement maintain best practice MMEx booking processes within the booking hub.
- Manage staff leave to ensure coverage for the Administration team.
- Assist with the implementation of effective management practices including effective Risk Management, Client Recall, MBS numbers; data management practices and billing practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organisations, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of ATSICHS Policy and procedures in line with AGPAL Accreditation Standards.

**Benefits**:

- Base salary of $75,030 to $82,732 per annum (based on qualifications and experience).

**Skills and Experiences**:
Required
Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Certificate IV Health Administration (or equivalent).
- Certificate III Business Administration (or equivalent).

Previous experience working in an administration and /or service coordination role.
Demonstrated organisation skills, including an ability to multi-task, to plan, set and prioritise.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and understand the cycle of care patient system.
National Police Certificate.
Immunisations.
Driver’s License.
Evidence of Work Rights.
Preferred
Previous experience working with an electronic Patient Management System such as MMEx.
Experience working within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community health service.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and understand the cycle of care patient system.
Knowledge of and experience working with - AGPAL, PIP IHI Revenue, My Medicare and MBS (Medicare Billing Schedule).
