Geospatial Consultant

This is a great career opportunity for a junior to mid-level Geospatial Consultant to join a top tier consultancy. Our Geospatial team has over 20 years’ experience in delivering spatial services that support large-scale projects across the Asia-Pacific region.

Our clients in the resources, energy, infrastructure, and development sectors know the Geospatial team at Tetra Tech Coffey use the latest GIS and data visualisation tools to provide the location intelligence and solutions they need to make more informed decisions about their projects.

**About the role**

You’ll join a collaborative and professional team that works together with our other offices within the Asia-Pacific region, and you’ll be supported by our experienced team to deliver projects for our clients. The role can be based in our Sydney (Chatswood), Melbourne (Southbank), or Adelaide (Keswick) offices. We are a flexible workplace and hybrid working options are available.

The main objective of the role will be to provide digital geospatial technology solutions to a range of projects and clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Project-wide GIS management.
- Curation of visually engaging interactive maps and dashboards in our interactive WebGIS platform.
- Analysis and interpretation of spatial data to quantify, model and solve problems.
- Building and deploying digital in-field data capture solutions.
- Creation of publication quality map products.

**About you**

You are a spatial infovore who enjoys working with maps and data. You’ll have:

- A tertiary qualification in GIS or a related discipline and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Advanced skills in Esri’s ArcGIS suite including ArcGIS Pro, Portal, ArcGIS Online, 3D Analyst and Spatial Analyst.
- Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal and visual).
- An awareness of authoritative spatial data sources in multiple jurisdictions.
- Great time management, prioritising and organisational skills.
- A strong service delivery and quality focus, with high attention to detail.

Experience within a team managing a project-wide GIS for a major project will be very highly regarded.
