**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support clients with day-to-day tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication, and housekeeping.
- Encourage and assist clients in developing life skills and achieving independence.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Assist clients in accessing community services, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment at all times.
- Follow individual care plans and contribute to their development and review.
- Monitor and report on the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of clients.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational and legal requirements.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team and attend training and supervision sessions as required.

**Requirements**:

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts.
- Experience in a care or support setting (desirable but not always required).
- Basic understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety practices.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care) are advantageous.
- A clear DBS check (or equivalent) is required.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work may be based in clients’ homes, residential facilities, or community settings.
- This may involve working alone or being part of a support team.
- Physical aspects such as lifting or supporting mobility may be required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Westmead NSW 2145: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Language**:

- Fluent English (preferred)
