**About the role**:
We are looking for a Governance & Architecture Manager. Officeworks is committed to delivering exceptional service and value to our customers while maintaining a strong focus on security and risk management. As the Cyber Security Governance and Architecture Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring Officeworks maintains a robust security posture. You will be responsible for overseeing security governance, risk management, compliance strategy, and architecture. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to ensure the effective protection of Officeworks' information assets.

**About you**:
Ideally you will posses the following:
Formal Education:

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications.
- At least one of the following:

- Relevant Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
- Relevant Architecture certifications such as SABSA, CRTSA, or GDSA.

Work Experience:

- 7+ years of IT Security experience, ideally with exposure to the Retail Industry.
- Experience working with senior business leaders.
- Demonstrated experience in developing IT strategy, security policies, standards, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in enterprise security architecture development and security pattern design.
- Experience managing security teams and overseeing security for Cloud and Software-as-a-Service environments.
- Strong understanding of IT security disciplines, frameworks, and methodologies (e.g., ISO, NIST, COBIT).

Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:

- Pragmatic approach to technical IT Security, aligning with business objectives and value.
- Knowledge of current and emerging technologies and their potential business impact.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical and security information into clear, business language.
- Strong customer focus and the ability to consult with both business and technology stakeholders.
- Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to influence outcomes and participate in debates with senior representatives.
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
