Strategic Planning and Service Innovation Manager

**Lead a team to position Centacare at the forefront of service design, evaluation and strategic innovation across the social and community services sector.**

**The Role**

Working closely with the Executive Manager, the Strategic Planning and Service Innovation Manager will drive forward-looking opportunities for Centacare. This includes evidence-informed service innovation that centres the voice of client and communities.

As part of the Strategy, Research and Innovation Unit, the Strategic Planning and Service Innovation Manager will lead a small team to enhance Centacare’s position as a sector-leading and outcomes focused research, advocacy and learning organisation that innovates across the service delivery spectrum.

**What you need to bring**

**Essential**
- Degree level qualifications in a relevant field
- Tender and/or grant writing experience
- Extensive project management experience
- Experience with service system design within a team environment
- Ability to deploy a suite of research approaches and skills, inclusive of leading co-design activities and processes
- Sector relevant research and evaluation experience
- Extensive experience working with CALD/NEC and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- Deep familiarity with the community and social services sector
- Sound ability to work across various research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative)
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check

**Desirable**
- Experience and/or training in the use of Human Centred Design methodologies
- Post-graduate research qualifications in a relevant field
- Project management qualifications
- Experience in measurement and evaluation of programs in social and community services settings
- A developed understanding of the impact of trauma on individuals and communities, particularly where there are underlying complexities
- Experience developing training opportunities to enhance service delivery opportunities
