We are a successful, established (24 years), family-owned importing and wholesale business supplying a broad base of loyal customers with all their corrugated paper (carboard) packaging requirements. Operating out of two, purpose-built warehouses in Canning Vale (Perth, Western Australia), we are looking for an energetic General Manager to take over the management of the company and to further grow the customer base and the product range we offer.

Reporting to the current owners, you will need to manage an existing staff of eight, as well as sourcing additional staff as and when required to ensure continued growth and industry leading customer service.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the business
- Develop strategies for future growth
- Ensure that the business is adequately resourced and staffed to meet the demands of the current customer and supplier base, and to cater for our future growth
- Liaise with key suppliers such as overseas manufacturers, shipping lines, customs brokers and local transport companies to ensure continuous and timely receipt of our products
- Foster good business relationships with our customers, and ensure we meet their requirements (products & time)
- Motivate and train staff, and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations (e.g. Worksafe)

Ideally, you must have extensive experience in a similar role in the corrugated paper industry and possess good administrative and sales skills. Attention to detail is a must too.

We offer a generous salary with normal benefits associated with such a senior role.

**Salary**: $145,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
