**The Role**
Based at our MinAnlyatical site in Canning Vale, this position would suit a person who is willing and able to turn their hand to any general maintenance tasks that can be found in a laboratory facility. The successful applicant will be given on the job training in all aspects of routine maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure they fully understand the task while also complying with ALS HSE policy at all times.

**The Essentials**
- Trade qualifications are not necessary, however previous experience with power tools and equipment on a professional or personal level is essential. This position requires performing routine preventative and reactive maintenance duties, general facility site repairs, simple metal fabrication tasks and repairs
- Mechanical aptitude is beneficial.
- Welding and mild steel experience highly regarded
- Excellent work ethic
- Committed to a safety culture while maximising productivity
- The **ability to work autonomously** with mínimal supervision, whilst being committed to the work of a team
- Current drivers’ license (**C** class) manual and own transport to and from the workplace
- **Proven ability to handle a busy and diverse workload.**
