**The Role**

We are currently seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join us on a casual basis. This position requires availability Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 6.00pm and offers approximately 32 hours per fortnight.

As a medical receptionist in our practice, you will be responsible for:

- Warmly greeting and assisting patients
- Scheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment book
- Accurate data entry of patient information
- Processing payments
- Assisting in tidying up consult rooms
- General administration duties as required

**Qualifications & Attributes**
- Customer-focused with a commitment to patient care
- A strong team player who contributes to a positive work culture
- Approachable, reliable and dependable
- Excellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can-do attitude
- Previous experience in administrative/reception roles
- Sensitive in your approach when dealing with patients
- Authorised to work in Australia
