**The Company**
Our client is a top-tier Oceania real asset group with a multi-billion-dollar range of high-quality real estate, infrastructure assets and investments. In addition, they manage investments via the funds management business with exposure to quality sector specific and diversified real asset products.

They have a stable and strong 40+ year track record across property investment, funds management, asset management and development, delivering returns for investors. Sustainability has been a key part of their focus and embed sustainability targets into their operations group-wide.

**The Role**
In this role, you'll help to lead and develop the real assets for the business. You will join a stellar team working under one of Australia’s most prominent and respected Sustainability leaders.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will work with Sustainability Leadership across the organisation to embed the new Sustainability Strategy to drive commercial value.

You will identify and implement sustainability projects of scale, including exploration of solar and emerging technologies, as well as leverage sustainability outcomes to improve investor and customer attraction, engagement and retention.

This role will liaise with fund reporting, including GRESB Real Estate Assessment for sustainability and create further impact for fund investors.

**About You**
You are truly passionate about Sustainability and understand how to promote positive impact within the investment space. You bring a strong understanding and experience in developing and delivering sustainability and investor or customer engagement strategies and programs.

You are able to engage, influence and support the Funds to identify and promote sustainability opportunities within the assets and investments, to influence positive impact for the environment and community.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainability-related programs and projects.
- Lead sustainability funds investor communications, case studies and progress reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the Sustainability strategy, governance and delivery.
- Contribute to and/or lead Governance of committees and working groups.
- Support the creation and delivery of environmental and social sustainability offerings across the platform. This includes aligning with customer needs and working with the funds team on how these are executed through the platform, portfolios and assets in a scalable way.
- Support in the delivery of the Sustainability Engagement & Communications Plan, including working with funds management teams to ensure sustainability is communicated in an impactful way to Investors.
- Liaise with the team responsible for fund-based reporting and completion of GRESB annually.

**Required Skills and Proficiencies**
- Strong understanding and experience in developing and delivering sustainability and investor or customer engagement strategies and programs in corporations.
- Experience leading and influencing sustainability change programs at scale.
- Demonstrated capability and experience in leveraging sustainability outcomes to improve investor and customer attraction, engagement and retention.
- Demonstrated understanding of Funds Management and investor needs.
- Experience contributing to high performing teams and influencing other teams to deliver sustainability outcomes.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Exposure to, or experience with GRESB reporting
