- Analyse business requirements and design SAP functional solutions in ECC using standard SAP as much as possible
- Produce estimates for proposed SAP solutions so that the business can understand the cost of these changes before committing to them
- Create and maintain functional specifications for ABAP development
- Interact closely with ABAP developers so that fixes and new solutions can be developed efficiently
- Support the identification of SAP functional and technical solution design, SAP configuration and data dependencies
- Work with and support Change Management and Business SME team to review and define business processes
- Develop quality documentation (including test scenario planning support, functional specifications)
- Resolve and mange user faults and queries, via the help desk system
- Provides timely and accurate resolution of issues and providing regular communication with customers
- Identifies areas of improvement and takes the necessary steps to rectify the situation
- Implements fixes and projects in a timely manner with little or no business impact
- Develop and maintain documentation and other resources which make up the knowledgebase for the department support framework for areas of expertise
- Ability to direct and lead small scale developments
- Provide functional consulting for new projects
- Conducts thorough testing of SAP-related changes and assists business users with UAT

- Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline - Essential
- Qualifications or certifications in any relevant technical discipline (SAP certification) - Desirable
- A minimum 1 year experience with SAP Supply Chain (ECC - strong config and business process skills)
- A minimum 1 year experience with SAP Financials (FI/CO)
- A minimum of 1 years experience in SAP MM - strong config and business process skills)
- Must have completed at least 1 full life cycle (end to end in SAP ECC)
