**About the Company**

Our client, a national material handling and access service provider, is looking for a Parts Assistant to join their team in Welshpool.

**About the Role**:
As the Parts Assistant, you will be responsible to receive and action all parts enquiries, both retail and internal and assist with inventory and action parts requests in the central store as required while maintaining relationships with external and internal customers.

**What They’re Looking For**:

- Experience in a warehouse environment, including picking, packing, and communicating with logistics partners.
- Familiarity with customer relations and business processes.
- Strong product knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy is preferred.
- A collaborative mindset and problem-solving abilities.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Manage all parts inquiries, both retail and internal.
- Supervise purchasing operations and generate purchase orders to maintain central store inventory.
- Assist in inventory management and fulfil parts requests as needed.
- Cultivate relationships with both external and internal customers.
- Process parts requisitions and handle incoming deliveries.
- Conduct regular stock counts in the central store and service vans.
- Facilitate purchasing operations, including raising purchase orders and cost estimation for service jobs.
- Participate in parts quoting processes.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
