**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced Gym Manager / PA to join our vibrant team at Tempo Gym in Ballina, NSW 2478. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to work closely with our General Manager and contribute to the strategic direction of our fitness facility. As the Gym Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the gym, ensuring our members receive an exceptional experience.

**What you'll be doing**
- Manage the overall operations of the gym, including scheduling, staffing, admin, social media
- Work closely with our Director and assist with tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to our gym members
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the gym facilities and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and legal regulations
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of fitness instructors and support staff
- Create and promote challenges in the club

**What we're looking for**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar gym management or fitness industry role
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with members
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
- A passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their wellness goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies in the fitness industry
- Relevant qualifications in fitness, business management, or a related field

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
