**Join Our Team - Disability Support Worker (Sleepover Shifts)**
The SIL Company is a dynamic and growing NDIS service provider, committed to delivering exceptional care to participants with complex needs. We’re looking for compassionate, dedicated, and proactive Disability Support Workers to join our passionate team—specifically for sleepover shifts—providing psychosocial support to people living with psychosocial disability and/or complex needs.
As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in empowering people to live more independently and enhance their well-being. If you have a heart for helping others and the skills to support people living with a psychosocial disability, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference—while supporting participants overnight in a calm, supportive environment.
**About the Role**:
As a Disability Support Worker for people living with psychosocial disability, you will:
- Provide overnight (sleepover) support to NDIS participants with complex psychosocial and behavioral support needs, ensuring a safe and reassuring presence throughout the night
- Support participants in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment, fostering personal growth and promoting independence
- Provide assistance as needed during the night, including personal care, emotional reassurance, or responding to incidents in line with individual support plans
- Ensure a smooth handover between day and night staff, and document any significant observations or events during the shift
- Build strong, respectful relationships with participants, ensuring their dignity and safety at all times
**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- Overnight monitoring and low-demand support
- Personal care or assistance if needed during the night
- Light domestic duties as required (before or after sleepover period)
- Accurate documentation and reporting
- Maintaining a calm, safe, and reassuring environment
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Experience supporting individuals with psychosocial disability, mental health, behavioral, or complex needs
- A compassionate and calm presence—especially important during overnight shifts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Current Driver’s License and reliable, insured vehicle (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and follow overnight procedures
- Understanding of safe work practices and emergency response protocols
