Live and Learn Group are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team, located in Penrith.

We are looking for individuals who possess the right empathy and ethic with suitable experience to work with our clients either in Day Program or In-home supports.

We are looking for staff who have availability between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday and between 9am and 4pn on weekends.

About You

  • have the ability to be flexible, strong and resilient in challenging situations

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • ensuring all medication administration is undertaken according to NDIS and Live & Learn Policies & Procedures
  • transporting participants to appointments and daily activities
  • supporting participants with personal hygiene, self-care, shopping, general tasks and domestic duties
  • completing shift progress notes

Requirements for this role:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
  • Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain
  • Police Check or willing to obtain
  • Infection Control Training or willing to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Minimum Cert III in Individual Support (Disability)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in the Disability sector
  • The right to work in Australia
  • Have the availability as outlined above
