**STONE MASON - Full Time**
Ideal Stone are seeking an experienced Stone Mason to join our established family business.
The successful applicant must be willing and **available to work both night and weekends.**
To join our team you must have:
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience.
- Understanding and working with drawings and measurements.
- Experience working with all types of materials (Terrazzo, reconstituted and natural stones).
- Experience in cutting, grinding, polishing, grouting, laminating, and mitering both stone/tiles.
- Ability to cut materials to the required sizes.
- Experience in quoting, template collecting / onsite measuring.
- Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
- Other duties include: Clean and polish surfaces with hand or power tools. Fill expansion joints with the appropriate caulking materials.
- Full driver’s licence.
**The Roles**
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure that jobs are completed as agreed by the customer.
- Working as a team player, with a positive attitude, and be presentable.
- Ensuring that the current high-quality standards of our work are always adhered to and delivered.
- You must be able to also work unsupervised.
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Sydney, NSW (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Sydney, NSW: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
