Corporate Banking Loans Officer

Sydney- Investment Banking- PermanentDue to the growth in our client’s portfolio of clients an exciting opportunity has come about for Corporate Loans Officer to join this leading global corporate bank in Sydney.
**Purpose of the role**:
To process all loan transactions and to provide back up and support in Guarantees and Trade Finance transactions.
Min. 1 year’s experience within corporate loans operations, guarantees or trade finance operations is required to be considered for this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Processing of the loan transactions in accordance with market practice, agreements and internal requirements.
- Complete all assigned duties in an accurate and timely manner
- Co-ordinate with Operations, Front Office, for related transactions and issues
- Identify any transaction discrepancies and resolve immediately and effectively
- Provide quality service to internal/external clients
- Undertake cross training to provide effective backup within other areas
Experience
- A minimum of twelve months’ banking experience in a similar role - corporate loans, guarantees, and trade finance
- Tertiary qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Payment systems knowledge and experience e.g. SWIFT
- Well organised with high accuracy levels, attention to detail
- Proactive and able to identify and resolve errors and discrepancies
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
- General administrative skills
