About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to be a part of new role designed to facilitate pre-vocational experience for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors interested in pursuing specialist training in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
About you
High level knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, protocols and history, as well as demonstrated experience in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
In conjunction with the Directors and Consultants, attend to the management of inpatients and outpatients within the Departments of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
Participate in the provision of safe, high quality and patient centred clinical care under supervision of senior medical staff.
