We have built and grown the medEbridge platform to connect businesses with healthcare all in the one place. We help businesses search, book and pay for health information and services from healthcare providers across Australia.

Currently we have a great opportunity for a Product Owner to join our team for a twelve month placement.** **As a Product Owner at medEbridge, you will work as part of a collaborative team who genuinely enjoys working together with a cross-functional team to make the medEbridge platform a better product. We are looking for a person that understand that simplicity and reliability are aspects of a system to be carefully calculated with every decision made.

**Job Description**:
The Product Owner is focused on understanding the business requirements/goals and delivering value to the business through cleaver solutions.

The role also works with the business to define what order the features of a product will be delivered in alignment with highest priority first and within approved budget and planned timelines. The Product Owner needs to think like a user and is responsible for explaining in verbal, written and illustrated forms, what users do, how they do it and what features must be delivered to support the users to be more effective at their job and deliver value.

The role of the Product Owner is to work closely with the Business Stakeholders and be aligned with the delivery team. Their focus will be on ensuring the best possible product is delivered in line with each initiative budget.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be the primary point of contact on behalf of the customer (business) to identify the product requirements for the development team. This includes the capture/writing of user stories and creation/management of the backlog
- Continuously refine the backlog based on feedback and changing business needs
- Lead the grooming/prioritisation of the backlog based on robust value articulation
- Ensure that the product backlog items are clearly defined, well understood, and properly estimated by the development team
- Ensure that the product is compliant with all relevant regulations and standards, and managing any legal or ethical considerations related to the product
- Demonstrate leadership and ownership of the product, and inspiring others to share and contribute to the product vision and goals
- Collaborate with the Enabling team, including the Agile Coach, to continuously improve how the team delivers value to the business
- Be proactive in identifying areas of process/technology improvement/innovation
- Work as part of the internal development team to achieve project delivery timeframes and quality
