**Your new company**

This leading health sector membership body is seeking a Quality and Compliance Officer to join the education arm of the organisation. With a strong staff focus, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality and Compliance professional to join a large organisation and contribute actively to its success.

**Your new role**
- Bringing a continuous improvement mindset to coordinate, monitor and implement all compliance requirements in relation to RTO legislative, financial, contractual, and reporting obligations.
- Regularly monitor and keep up to date with relevant quality and compliance standards that relate to RTO operations and coordinate any reporting requirements with VRQA and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Conduct two internal audits per year, (and/or as regulated by, for example VRQA and Skills First), to ensure robust risk management and identification of areas for rectification and continuous improvement.
- In conjunction with the Manager, contribute to the preparation of funding submissions and other opportunities, to increasing the range and scope of accredited training programs delivered in the area.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will bring a thorough understanding of the RTO standards and demonstrated successful experience of this within the VET sector. This will be supplemented by;
- Diploma of Quality Auditing, or related qualification will be highly regarded, as well a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the desire to obtain this whilst in your new role
- A positive personal attitude, with an enthusiasm for working in a team centric environment and a commitment to continual professional learning and growth.
- Previous experience in the development and implementation of Policies and Procedures to meet all RTO compliance requirements.
- Understanding of continuous quality and compliance improvements as well as processes to ensure it is embedded in practice.
