**Melrose Contracting Pty Ltd** is a highly regarded Roofing company with operations in Sydney, Newcastle, South Coast, and ACT. We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Roof plumber to join us at our South Nowra Office. You will be an organized, friendly & focused person with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

- Drive to building sites and measure flashings and roofs.
- Return unused material to the workshop for reuse.
- Contacting and liaising with building supervisors.
- Keeping track of and ensuring all deadlines are met
- Scheduling of work
- On-site Roof and Flashing measures
- Quality control of roofing installations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize your work
- Be a self-starter and show initiative
- Work well under pressure
- Ability to read Site Plans and specifications
- Extensive knowledge or experience in the Building and Construction Industry is advantageous
- Work cover approved white card and current NSW Drivers Licence (manual) are essential
- Roof Plumbing accreditation is highly recommended (but not essential)
- Fluent English language skills

**Salary**: $63,576.72 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Illawarra NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
