**Job Description**:
The Marketing Manager role is responsible for developing and delivering marketing materials to support TAL's Group Life & Retirement's (GL&R) core offering and key campaigns and propositions for TAL’s super fund partners.
This role is focused on supporting the development and leading the execution of our marketing strategy, education and advocacy for key stakeholder groups across TAL’s GL&R Business Unit.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development and execution of marketing materials to support our engagement with our super fund (B2B) partners and their members
- Engaging with key stakeholders across the business to understand challenges and consider how the marketing, communications and events team might support the development and delivery of a solution
- Ongoing development and maintenance of the marketing data and proof points library, including engaging with the business for regular audits and updating the library of content and materials with key messaging and proof points.
- Reporting and analysis of the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and deliverables.
**Qualifications**:
You are a team player, and a natural storyteller, with the ability to understand and simplify complex concepts, taking advantage of your technical experience and knowledge across financial services to compel key audiences to take action. You'll be comfortable and confident interacting with stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs, and you enjoy collaborating with diverse teams to develop and execute compelling marketing materials.
You enjoy a busy environment, are a highly responsive and proactive self starter with the ability to execute work independently while also working with the team. You can juggle challenging deadlines, multiple and conflicting priorities while keeping stakeholders engaged and informed.
You are curious and creative, thriving on opportunities to challenge and innovate ways to reach your audience and build engagement to deliver against marketing objectives.
To be a success in this role you will have:
- Min 7 years’ experience in a marketing role from ideally the Life Insurance, or Financial Services sectors
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, journalism (or other relevant field)
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word and PowerPoint are a must)
- Strong B2B and B2B2C marketing and communications
- Ability to understand data and extract insights, and complex product, stakeholder or technological environments
- Ability to translate complex and technical messages into meaningful communications for relevant audiences
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to present to all levels across the company
- Confidence to manage challenging deadlines, multiple and conflicting priorities while taking ownership and enjoying accountability
- Ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement with a diplomatic issues management and resolution focus
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, and execute with strong attention to detail.
