**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are seeking a General Hand/Greenkeeper to assist with the maintenance of all buildings & grounds, furniture & fittings, including plant & equipment to the highest standard.

**_Please note, this is a permanent full time opportunity that will be based at The King’s School Tudor House campus in Moss Vale._**

To be successful for this role, you will need to have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:

- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of the School’s sport fields and surrounding grounds
- Assisting with minor maintenance matters
- Assisting with the setup of marquees and seating as required for sporting events
- Assisting in the maintenance of fire trails, paddocks and formal gardens
- Assisting with marking up Athletics and Cross-Country tracks
- Ensure any chemical spraying is done in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
- Ensure all Plant and Equipment is maintained to the highest standard
- Previous experience with large scale properties such as schools, golf courses or hobby farms would be advantageous
- Ability to work cooperatively in a small team
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and solve problems
- Horticultural qualifications are preferred but not essential
- Trade qualifications of any type are preferred but not essential
- Experience with animal husbandry and working with livestock is preferred but not essential
