Our client is well established supplier, designer and manufacturer of Office Furniture with a focus on quality, innovative design and customer service. Catering for both small and large organisations, our clients’ projects can range from 5K to 500K + supplying office furniture from either an extensive in-house range through to custom design and build. Their client base covers all industry sectors including large corporate entities, executive, government, retail, health, mining and small to medium business.

**Working Hours & Days**
- **Monday to Friday**
- **7:00 AM to 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM**
- **9 to 10 Hour Days**

**About the Job**

Due to our client experiencing a large increase in their products and services, they are seeking an experienced stores person with leading hand experience for their warehouse. The role is for in-house only where products are picked for several installation teams that pack the trucks in the morning to then go to site installations.

Within this diverse, all-rounder position, you could expect the role to consist of, but not limited to the following:

- **Goods receivables**
- **Unloading of trucks and containers - Forklift & By Hand**
- **Unpacking, checking and storing goods**
- **Stock management and updating internal software**
- **Forklift (LF) operating/Counter balance**
- **Dispatching**
- **Picking goods for distribution/installation for in-house installation teams**
- **Stock management and updating internal software**
- **Warehouse/Stores Duties**
- **Picking/Packing**
- **Warehouse upkeep**

We are looking for an individual with at least 2+ years’ experience in:

- **Warehouse operation**
- **Stores Person**
- **Leading hand/Team leader/Supervisor**

Experienced Stores Personnel without leading hand experience are still encouraged to apply, as training will be provided to the right individual,

Essential Criteria includes;
- **Possess a High Risk LF Forklift Ticket**
- **Is competent of operating Counter Balance Forklifts**
- **Possess a C-Class Drivers Licence for using company Ute**
- **Is able to Pass Medicals and Drug & Alcohol Screening**
- **Has the intention of ongoing, long-term work where you will be able to develop your career**
- **Exceptional communication skills - written & verbal**
- **Have the flexibility to work long days when required**
- **Be well presented (maintaining clean work cloths)**
- **Have initiative with excellent problem-solving skills**
- **Be physically fit to be able to carry out physical tasks such as moving furniture & unloading containers**
- **Have a positive attitude where you do not get stressed when things don’t go your way**
- **Be able work autonomously or in a team environment**
- **Be a productive worker that carries out their tasks efficiently as well to high standards**
- **Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines**

**Remuneration**
- **Expected Annual Earnings between $70,000 to $75,000 Per Anum**
- **Hourly Pay Rate of $26.00 to $28.00**
- **+ Over Time (1 to 2 hours of X1.5 per day)**
- **+ Super**
- **+ Bonus**
- **+ Leave Entitlements**

**Please Note**: In this position Warehouse Operative will generally earn between $70,000 to $75,000 Per Annum due to Hourly Rate + OT + Bonus.

**Salary**: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
