**Your new role**

To ensure the on-going management and continuous improvement across the global DevOps function, this role is responsible for ensuring that the standards and oversight of the DevOps practice are adopted and embedded across all the technology platform teams. This includes but is not limited to:

- Developing, leading and continuously improving:

- DevOps test planning and execution
- Continuous Development including the standardised approach and methods to support the use of code repositories and release cycles
- Continuous Integration including the use of code scanning tools to improve Security operations and adherence to coding practices
- Continuous Deployment including oversight of the DevOps capability to deliver sustainable technology such as ensuring that there are adequate environments for the Funds critical systems
- Continuous Operations including embedding in each of the technology teams supporting the Service Management capability in the Infrastructure & Service Management team
- Continuous Learning which should be integrated into colleague training and development goals

**What you’ll need**

The successful applicant will have proven DevSecOps experience and be passionate about automation and building high performing teams. Experience with cloud technology, cloud security, continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and a strong operational background is essential. In addition you will bring;
- 5+ years’ of experience with test automation
- Understanding of information security practices
- Strong Atlassian suite (Jira/Confluence) and PowerBI skills
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with Microsoft Azure
- Demonstrated high proficiency with DevOps concepts and technologies
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
- Advanced experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing commercial decisions
- Experience in a fast-growing technology function or company
- Tertiary qualification in technology
