**Position Information**:
Gosford High School is a selective school catering for high academic students. Current enrolment is 1074 students from Year 7 - Year 12. The ethos of academic excellence and personal best are at the core of the school’s vision and purpose. The school community is diverse with approximately 40% of students from language backgrounds other than English. This provides the school with a rich cultural context that encourages and celebrates tolerance and difference. Diverse and experienced staff bring a range of expertise and passion to the school. **Selection Criteria**:
- Approval to teach Japanese and French with demonstrated excellence in classroom teaching Japanese and/or French to Stage 6.
- Capacity to develop and deliver effective, engaging and differentiated teaching programs, catering to the needs of high potential and gifted students.
- Demonstrated capacity to implement quality assessment practices to ensure high student achievement. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively as an effective team member.
